Jim started at Weisman Kennedy upon graduation from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1964. He has spent his entire career with the firm which was originally the Law Office of Fred Weisman, eventually became Weisman, Goldberg & Weisman and was later changed to Weisman, Kennedy & Berris, which it is today. Jim is well known for being a negotiator and for settling negligence, medical malpractice and general civil cases. Jim has been named in the civil litigation section of Best Lawyers of America and was recognized by the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers for continued leadership, integrity and dedication to protecting the rights of individuals and the American civil justice system.
